What is Vision?
Vision is something God breathes into a person or a people. It isn’t necessarily we even recognize it is God but it haunts us and grabs our hearts. It is both the catalyst and the sustaining force to keep that drives us through good and bad times until we have accomplished the goal. The clearer the vision, the more powerful it is to catalyze and sustain the mission. Mission on the other hand is the practical working out of vision in the real world. It is the flesh on the frame of vision.
Our Vision
The vision that we have been given is to build a church that is;
1) Culturally, ethnically, generationally and economically diverse; a church that demographically reflects the diversity in God’s Heavenly Kingdom/Family.
2) Vibrant, compelling, real, intimate and filled with life in its expression of worship; a place where the Lord is pleased to come and dwell in the midst of us.
3) A place of learning and growing where people are free to discover their giftings and abilities and are trained up, grow personally, mature in character and are released into the things God has made them for.
4) A place where love and acceptance prevail; where all have a place and are actively encouraged to find their place.
5) A safe place where once you find who you are in Christ you will be released to go and do whatever you were made for.
6) A place where people can be healed in every way; emotionally, spiritually, physically and relationally. Jesus came to preach the good news, wherever He shared the good news of the Kingdom; people where healed in every way. We desire to participate with the Spirit in His ongoing ministry of healing.
7) A place of friendship where you can rest in His love and the love of His children.
