OUR VALUES
We value THE PURSUIT OF GOD. We are hungry to feel God's presence, hear His voice and follow passionately after Him. Simply stated, we desire an intimate relationship with our God.
We value CHRISTLIKENESS. We desire that the love, grace, and power of Jesus would shine through all that we do and say.
We value BEING SPIRIT-LED. We honor the Holy Spirit as our counselor. We seek to be responsive to Him in life and ministry. We desire to see the power of the Spirit break through with signs and wonders and a release of spiritual gifts to the glory of God.
We value THE BIBLE. We believe it to be the divinely inspired Word of God. Since the Bible is the eternal Word of God, we desire to study, know and live it out.
We value FELLOWSHIP. We are honored by every person whom God adds to the Our Church. We aim to build His church through maintaining mutual respect, open communication, and cooperation while believing and speaking the best about each other.
We value BEING CULTURALLY CURRENT. We aim to develop a comfortable atmosphere through music, dress, and language to which all types of people can respond to positively.
We value MINISTRY AMONG THE POOR. We hope to always be reaching out to those who have less. We want to be feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and visiting the sick and imprisoned.
We value FAMILY. We wish to support and encourage the family and children in all we do.
We value WORSHIP. We desire for this church to be a place where people enter into an intimate, Spirit led, interactive experience with God as we sing songs of love, praise and thanksgiving from our hearts in worship of our great God.
We value SERVANT LEADERSHIP. We believe that Christ has put leadership authority in the hands of the pastor and his associates. We aim to exercise that authority with humility, selflessness, and grace in an effort to build the body of Christ.
We value INTEGRITY. We desire to speak the truth, deal honestly, and to live uprightly; to be people og Godly character.
We value THE MERCY OF GOD. We believe that mercy is fundamental to all that God does in salvation. We, therefore, aim to extend mercy to one another and to those to whom we minister. We live by grace, there for we give grace.
We value EVANGELISM. Since God's desire is always to seek and to save the lost, we desire to be co-laborers with Him in this word. A high priority will always be given to helping the unbeliever come into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, and to see the prodigal come home to the love of the Father.
We value UNITY. We are convinced that all who belong to Christ are one in His body, the Church. We aim to maintain unity by honoring all who call on Jesus' name and by seeking reconciliation with all parts of the Church.
