MEET OUR STAFF

Phill and Patti

Phill and Patti Urena have been in ministry for over 24 years with a wide range of ministry experience. Phill was ordained in 1996 and has led small group ministries for 24 years, as well as, congregational worship. Together they have overseen children and youth ministries and various evangelistic ministries in the two Vineyard churches in which they have served. They have a deep desire to see the love of God demonstrated in real and authentic ways throughout Central Suffolk County, touching people of all cultural backgrounds, ages and socio-economic spheres. In addition to, supporting Phill, Patti also oversees out Children’s ministry with Diana Carasa and our Women’s Ministry. Phill and Patti have been married since 1980 and live in Holtsville with their two sons Jason and Matthew.

Alan and Amaris

Alan and Amaris have been married since 1999, they have three children: Grace, Jack, and Sophia. Alan is a successful businessman that has a passion to see Christian men walk with integrity, in the marketplace and in the community. He is committed to challenging men to grow in Christian character and to develop servant/leaders that desire to serve Christ with excellence. Amaris has served in the church in various ways since her teen years. Amaris has a heart for the very little ones and is confident that they can be powerfully impacted towards Christ from an early age, as such, Amaris oversees our toddlers. As such our early childhood ministry is NOT a babysitting service but a vibrant part of Christian development in our church.

Ray and Claudia

Ray and Claudia have been with us from the beginning. They have two children, Kimberly and Hannah. Ray is a real student of God’s word and a lover of God’s children, Ray is gifted prophetically but has a pastoral heart; as such he is perfect to oversee our Sunday Service prayer team. Claudia has a servants heart and serves in any way she can including Sunday school and co-leading one of our Lifegroups with Ray. We are blessed to have them be part of our team.

Diana

Diana simply loves children. She has served the little ones faithfully since 1994 and continues to have a deep desire to see children touched by God’s love at the earliest possible age. She is a grandma and brings a grandma’s heart to all the children that come under her care. Diana lives in Patchogue. She is a mom of four, Teresa, Maria, Jacqui, and Christian and the grandmother to seven balls of mischief and fun.

Terence

Terence, born in 1986, comes from a strong Christian home where he was raised by his parents Terry Sr. and Grace to have a deep passion for Jesus. Terence is a student at Nyack College where he is preparing for pastoral ministry with a minor in music. A gifted songwriter, Terence is passionate about worshipping Jesus with freedom and genuine love. His heart is that his generation would have a radical passion for Jesus.

Stephen

Stephen, born in 1986, has been part of our team from the beginning. He is also a part of our worship team and a talented graphic artist as well as a math tutor. Steve leads our Media Team, along with Jason, Anthony and Christie. Steve, like Terence, has a heart for his generation to find their place as leaders and to be sold out disciples of Jesus in real and practical ways. Steve wants to see authentic Christianity lived out by his peers in practical ways, making a difference in the lives of those in our community. His heart is broken for the oppressed and is partnered with the organization LOVE146.

Jason

Jason, born in 1988, has been around ministry since he was very young. He is a college student majoring in psychology and youth ministry at Nyack College. Jason is the genius behind our videos and leads the production of our media. He is passionate for the broken and homeless. His heart is to develop a team of young people that will take the heart of Jesus into the streets. A born leader his passion is contagious.

One last thing about Steve, Jay, Terence and the rest of the emanate team is that they like to have fun. They are real, genuine, a little crazy, but a whole lot of fun!

Geoff

Geoff has been with us for 2 years now and has a contagious passion for Jesus. Geoff had a life changing encounter with the Lord and has gone hard after him ever since. He relates well with real people and is therefore a perfect choice to oversee our welcome team.

Chris

Chris is married to his best friend Michelle. They have 5 children together, Keegan, Chris, Brian, Casey and John. Chris and Michelle have been with us from the beginning. Together, Chris and Michelle have been active in the Islip community for many years and have a heart to see those in need in our area loved. Chris is involved in several ministries including our outreach committee, building committee and he oversees our set up teams.
